This time of year, scammers work hard to try to get you to share your personal account information. The latest scam is talking people into going into their online banking or setting online banking up if they are not already enrolled. All this is done over the phone so that they can make a deposit/refund credit to your account.

As a reminder, First Independent Bank will never ask you for your specific account information, but will only ask you for confirmation of your identity. If you're in doubt, tell the individual you'll have to call your local bank, and then hang up.
